Bitcoin Nears Accumulation Zone Amid Shift to Long-Term Holders

Bitcoin's on-chain data suggests that it may be nearing an important accumulation zone. According to Joao Wedson, a prominent analyst, the Long-Term Holder Realized Cap divided by the Short-Term Holder Realized Cap currently stands at 3.9.

This ratio has previously been above 4 during major price bottoms, with two notable instances occurring when it reached this threshold. The current reading indicates that long-term holders are holding a larger share of realized capital compared to short-term holders, who remain relatively limited in their participation.

Wedson notes that this type of market structure has previously emerged during 'advanced' accumulation phases, where weaker hands exit and ownership shifts towards long-term investors. However, he cautions that it does not confirm the exact bottom is already in, but rather shows that Bitcoin is approaching a historically significant zone.
