Bitcoin on Track for $150K Target by 2027: Former Credit Suisse Risk Head
Credit Suisse's former global head of valuation risk, CK Zheng, now co-founder and CIO of ZX Squared Capital, believes that Bitcoin has weathered its current cycle.
According to Zheng, the crypto industry is much healthier during this bear market due to rapid institutional adoption. He points out that corporate treasury companies and the crypto ETF market are attracting more long-term investors than retail hype.
Zheng expects a new bull market to begin late this year or early next, triggered by the passing of the CLARITY Act, which will bring more institutional investors into the asset class. This, he believes, will lead to a bull run.
The former Credit Suisse risk head predicts Bitcoin could reach $150,000 by 2027, driven by scarcity and adoption as institutional FOMO takes hold. Zheng ties his target to fiscal pressures, expecting U.S. debt to rise at an unprecedented pace in 2027.
