Bitcoin or Silver: AI Models Predict Higher Upside for Bitcoin by 2028
Silver and Bitcoin have been on different paths since August 2026. Silver has been trading near $64 to $66, having broken a price barrier that stood for decades, while Bitcoin has been struggling at around $62,000 to $64,000 after losing almost 50% from its October 2025 record.
Three AI models - Grok, ChatGPT, and Claude - were asked which asset could deliver the better percentage return by 2028. Their conclusions agreed that Bitcoin has a higher upside, but they differed in their views on the risks involved.
Silver's support comes from physical shortages, industrial demand, and growing need for clean energy development. However, it also carries significant risk, including weaker industrial activity reducing manufacturing demand and increased recycling placing more metal back into the market.
Bitcoin needs to recover by almost 100% to reach its October 2025 record of $126,198. While this looks challenging, previous cycles have seen Bitcoin complete comparable recoveries after halving events.
