Bitcoin Outflows Spark Debate as Remittix's PayFi Testing Begins
The Bitcoin community is abuzz with debate over recent exchange outflows, which saw more than 13,800 BTC leave Binance in a single session. This movement has sparked discussion about whether fewer coins available on exchanges could support BTC's price if spot and ETF demand remain strong.
A large withdrawal can indicate that coins are being moved into longer-term custody, but the destination and owner of each transfer are crucial factors to consider. The episode arrives as Treasury yields make the broader market less forgiving of weak rallies.
Remittix is also generating interest with its PayFi testing phase, which aims to deliver fiat through compatible bank accounts using supported crypto. The app's scheduled debut on November 24 has raised $32 million from over 40,000 participants, with a hard cap of $36 million. RTX is currently priced at $0.23 and is expected to reach $0.46 in the final presale tier.
The Remittix platform includes an iOS wallet and a live trading venue, Remittix Markets, which has seen millions in perpetuals volume. The platform also plans to introduce Remittix Earn, offering yields up to 22% APY on eligible holdings. A wallet rebuild aims to integrate the services together.
