Bitcoin Perpetual Futures Traders Show Slight Bullish Bias Across Top Exchanges
Bitcoin perpetual futures traders are currently leaning slightly bullish across top exchanges.
According to data from Binance, OKX, and Bybit, the three largest crypto derivatives exchanges by open interest, long positions range from 51.49% to 52.92%, while short positions make up between 47.08% and 48.51% of total open positions.
The aggregate data shows a modest but noticeable skew toward upward price expectations, with an overall tilt of 51.72% long versus 48.28% short.
While the figures indicate a positive sentiment, the relatively balanced ratios suggest that traders remain cautious, and extreme readings can sometimes signal a contrarian opportunity as crowded trades may lead to sharp reversals.
