Bitcoin Plunges Below $63,000 as Crypto Markets Dip
Crypto markets are experiencing a downturn, with major coins falling across the board. On August 14 Eastern Time, U.S. tech stocks were showing signs of recovery, with S&P 500 futures rising 0.08% and Nasdaq futures gaining 0.18%. However, cryptocurrencies continued to fluctuate lower, with Bitcoin dropping below $63,000.
The best-performing sector in memory chips saw significant gains, with SanDisk up over 6%, Micron Technology and Western Digital both up about 3%, and SK Hynix and Silicon Motion up roughly 2%. In contrast, major coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB, XRP, and Solana all posted losses.
Bitcoin's price is currently heading towards the $62,000 mark, which could be a key support level. If BTC price falls further and loses this level, it may seek the next support at $58,000, a low set this year that could trigger a bullish counterattack.
