Bitcoin Poised for 42% Surge on Regulatory Hopes
Bitcoin has been trading relatively flat at around $83k amid limited catalysts for the cryptocurrency markets. However, despite this recent stagnation, Bitcoin is poised to make significant gains in the coming quarter, with a predicted increase of 42% by September 30th.
This positive outlook is largely attributed to growing optimism over U.S. regulatory approval, as recent moves by the Securities and Exchange Commission have helped markets overlook the failure of the Clarity Act. Additionally, heightened concerns over U.S. fiscal health, coupled with soaring Treasury yields, have spurred some investors into alternative assets like gold and Bitcoin.
Bitcoin's prospects are also bolstered by top corporate holder Strategy Inc.'s resumption of purchases during the quarter. However, the cryptocurrency has faced headwinds in recent times, including a surge in yields that dragged it away from eight-month highs earlier this month.
