Bitcoin Posts Significant Net Outflows Amid Price Surge
Bitcoin experienced a net outflow of 2,721.19 BTC from centralized exchanges over the past week, despite its recent surge in price. This trend is observed through data provided by CoinGlass and reported by BlockBeats on August 22. The total net outflow was comprised of Bithumb's largest contribution of 6,058.26 BTC, followed by Kraken's 3,470.62 BTC.
However, it's essential to note that other exchanges logged net Bitcoin inflows, resulting in a smaller overall net outflow. Funding rates across major centralized and decentralized exchanges have returned to neutral, indicating a balanced market.
