Bitcoin Price Bounces Back as ETF Inflows Return Amid Volatility
The past week has been marked by significant fluctuations in both Bitcoin's price and US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) inflows.
According to Farside Investors, spot Bitcoin ETFs experienced a net inflow of approximately $6.1 million across the five trading days from September 14 to September 18.
The period began with strong inflows on September 14 and ended with another wave of investor interest, but it was not without its challenges.
On September 15 and 16, investors pulled a total of $746.3 million from the funds, with Fidelity's FBTC being one of the hardest hit.
However, demand returned on September 17 and 18, with Fidelity's FBTC attracting $310.7 million and BlackRock's IBIT adding another $108.4 million to its coffers.
Bitcoin's price action mirrored this volatility, falling below $76,000 before rebounding above $80,000 as institutional inflows returned.
