Bitcoin Price Consolidates Above Breakout Zone as Institutions May Be Accumulating
The Bitcoin price has been consolidating above its cup and handle breakout zone, waiting for a catalyst to push it higher. Analyst Ash Crypto argues that the CLARITY Act delay is mirroring the BlackRock ETF playbook, giving institutions more time to accumulate before regulation unlocks trillions in capital.
According to Ash Crypto's comparison on X, BlackRock launched its private Bitcoin trust while retail was selling in 2022, filed for a Spot ETF when most had given up, and by the time approval came, Bitcoin had already run from $38,700 to $126,000. The same pattern may be playing out now.
Michael Saylor hinted at a possible return to Bitcoin buying for Strategy on X with the message 'Doing ₿usiness' after weeks of no purchases. If Strategy resumes buying, it adds a corporate treasury demand layer to what is already a technically constructive consolidation above the breakout zone.
