Bitcoin Price Could See 30% Shock as Bond Yields Soar
The Bitcoin price has stagnated since June, stuck in a trading range as markets wait for what's being called the 'ultimate catalyst'.
Despite BlackRock's recent claim that the market bottom has been reached, the Bitcoin price remains down around 50% from its October peak of $5 (no mention of the exact year, but we know it was 2025).
A potential game-changer could be the imminent $1.8 trillion money printing surge by the US government, which might send the Bitcoin price sharply higher.
However, soaring bond yields could instead trigger a 30% Bitcoin price shock, according to Fundstrat's head of digital asset strategy Sean Farrell.
Bond yields have spiked this week due to rising deficits and uncertainty over monetary policy under Federal Reserve chair Kevin Warsh. The yield on US 30-year Treasuries has reached its highest level since 2002, while the benchmark 10-year Treasury yield notched its highest since 2007.
