Bitcoin's price took a hit after David Sacks, the White House's crypto and AI adviser, failed to discuss a strategic bitcoin reserve during a press conference.

The value of Bitcoin dropped by 4.8% in one day, settling at $96,900, down from its earlier high of $101,000.

The broader cryptocurrency market also saw significant declines, with Solana, XRP, Cardano, and Chainlink falling between 6% and 10%, while Ether decreased by 5.3%.

Sacks did mention the White House's feasibility study on a strategic bitcoin reserve but shifted focus to regulatory issues when asked about it.
