Bitcoin Price Easing Selling Pressure Sparks Hope Amid Undervaluation Concerns
Bitcoin's recent price action has sparked hope among investors as selling pressure eases. The cryptocurrency is trading near $65,000, significantly below its historical valuation range. According to the MVRV Z-Score, a key indicator used to gauge Bitcoin's value, the current reading stands at 0.42, compared to its long-term average of 1.7.
This gap has placed Bitcoin's valuation under intense scrutiny, with some investors hoping that it signals undervaluation. However, it's essential to note that the score is not yet in negative territory, which was a hallmark of past capitulation phases. In fact, the indicator fell to 0.185 on June 30, its lowest point this cycle, before recovering.
The current price range between $64,000 and $66,000 reflects caution from both buyers and sellers ahead of the Federal Reserve's next rate decision. Investors have been locked in net losses for most of the past month, with realized losses reaching about $8.5 billion in June. However, this trend reversed last week, with daily gains ranging from $400 million to $500 million.
Analyst Crazzyblockk suggests that the market may be experiencing a deep reset without a full capitulation event. If demand continues to improve, a move toward 1.7 in the MVRV Z-Score could signal stronger valuation conditions and support a wider price recovery.
