Bitcoin Price Faces $60K Liquidity Test Amid Escalating Geopolitical Tensions
The Bitcoin price has recovered above $63,500 after dipping below $63,000 yesterday, but it still faces significant liquidity risks. According to CryptoReviewing data, there is about $2.1 billion in liquidity between the current price and $60,000, compared to only $1.12 billion above $65,500.
This imbalance puts the $60,000 area firmly on traders' radar. Additionally, a recent report from the Wall Street Journal suggests that Iran has used the ceasefire period to rebuild military infrastructure and prepare for another confrontation.
If geopolitical tensions escalate again, it could put pressure on oil prices, inflation expectations, and risk appetite, which could negatively impact the BTC price. With weak spot demand and falling open interest, Bitcoin's recovery above $63,500 may not have enough fuel to push the price much higher.
