Dogecoin Breaks Bearish Streak, Hints at Modest Recovery
Dogecoin (DOGE) has retained a neutral-to-slightly bullish outlook as it hovers above $0.070, a critical support level that could encourage bulls to increase exposure and raise the chances of a steady recovery.
Despite posting a modest 0.9% return in August so far, Dogecoin has shown a potential end to its recent bearish trend. The token's performance has been inconsistent this year, with May seeing a -5.9% return, June experiencing a -28.3% decline, and July recording a -3.4% loss.
The derivatives market remains relatively elevated, with perpetual futures Open Interest (OI) holding at 16.85 billion DOGE on Monday. This increase in OI often offsets selling pressure in the broader market, reducing the chances of extended losses while raising the odds of a sustained recovery.
