Bitcoin Price Hits $84K, Yet Market Signals Remain Conflicted
Bitcoin has seen a modest price increase, reaching $84,000, up from $76,500 a week ago. However, this rise in value is not accompanied by conviction in the market's signals.
A widely watched model, the Bitcoin Regime Score, shows conflicting signs. It briefly touched Strong Bull territory twice this week, first hitting +52 on September 19 and then +64 on September 22, only to drift back near zero both times.
Confidence in this score has also weakened significantly, plummeting from 50% to a mere 22% over the past 24 hours, close to its monthly low of 19%. A low reading indicates that bullish and bearish signals are roughly canceling each other out, not necessarily indicating a calm market.
Bitcoin remains 3.7% below its monthly high of $87,200, with no clear directional signal in place at present.
