Bitcoin Price on Brink of Breakout to $100,000 Amid Rising ETF Inflows
The Bitcoin price is on the verge of a strong bullish breakout, potentially reaching the crucial resistance level of $100,000. Two top Bitcoin treasury stocks, Strategy (MSTR) and Strive (ASST), have also rebounded significantly, with MSTR jumping over 102% from its lowest point this year to $160.50.
MSTR's market capitalization has surged to over $61 billion, while ASST has risen by over 340% from its all-time low to reach $31 and a market capitalization of over $2.8 billion.
Bitcoin's price may be driven upward by several catalysts, including rising ETF inflows. In the past month alone, these funds have added over $102 million, with BlackRock's IBIT contributing over $195 million, Grayscale's BTC adding over $14 million, and Morgan Stanley's MSBT adding over $7 million.
However, it is worth noting that these inflows were offset by significant outflows from Fidelity, Grayscale, Bitwise, and VanEck. Despite this, the funds have still had net inflows of $1.5 billion this year, with cumulative inflows reaching $57.6 billion.
A strong Bitcoin rally to $100,000 would significantly boost the value of Strategy's and Strive's assets. With 847,666 coins in its holdings, a surge to that level would be valued at over $84.7 billion for MSTR, while ASST's value would increase by approximately $2.7 billion.
