Bitcoin Price Rebounds Amid Whale Transfers and Fed Rate Hike
Bitcoin's price rebounded to nearly $78,200 on September 18 after a midweek slump that pushed the market below $76,000.
The recovery came as traders weighed the Federal Reserve's quarter-point rate increase, the U.S. Senate's failure to advance the CLARITY Act, and conflicting signals from on-chain flows and chart patterns.
Despite institutional ETF inflows of around $159.5 million on September 17, retail investors were prompted to fear massive sell-offs due to whale transfers, leading some to consider exiting their Bitcoin holdings.
Ric Edelman predicted that a 1% global allocation could imply a $500,000 price by 2030, while others framed the rebound as incomplete and warned of further declines.
