Bitcoin Price Slips Below $84,000 Amid Profit-Taking Selling
Bitcoin's price slipped below $84,000 on September 29 as profit-taking selling emerged despite inflows into spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs). According to Glassnode, the rise in Bitcoin was driven by these ETF inflows, but perpetual futures traders and existing holders sold into the rally, partly offsetting the gains.
The price of Bitcoin dropped 1.66% on Binance's USDT market from a day earlier, while on Upbit's won market it fell 0.17%. Major altcoins such as Ethereum, XRP, and Solana also traded lower, with Ethereum down 0.1%, XRP falling 2.1%, and Solana dropping 3.58%.
