Bitcoin Price Slump Possible in Next Two Months: Historical Cycles Point to October Market Bottom

The next two months could be crucial in determining whether Bitcoin reaches its market bottom by October or continues to decline into November or December, according to an analysis of historical market cycles.

Historical data shows that August and September have often been weak months for Bitcoin, particularly during midterm years. Since 2010, Bitcoin has fallen about 10% on average in August and around 8% in September during midterm years.

If a similar pattern repeats in 2026, Bitcoin could fall toward the mid-$50,000 range or lower, based on its current price of around $63,000.

The current Bitcoin cycle is also approaching the timing of previous market bottoms. Previous cycle bottoms occurred around days 1,432 and 1,436, which would put late September through mid-December in focus as a potential window for the next major low.
