Bitcoin Price Stagnant Despite Record Inflows into US Spot ETFs
The Bitcoin price has been stagnant at around $84,500 for nearly two weeks despite significant inflows into US spot ETFs. In September, these funds attracted a net $2.65 billion, the second-highest monthly figure since October 2025, according to data from SoSoValue.
Although this influx of capital may seem like it should boost the price, investors are still waiting for a clear indication that the market is on the move again. The zone around $83,500 has held strong since September 21, and any break above or below this level could signal a change in direction.
The contrast with Ether is notable, as while Bitcoin ETFs took in money on October 1, $55.4 million flowed out of the Ether ETFs, marking the third minus in a row. Institutional investors are therefore leaning towards Bitcoin at the start of the fourth quarter.
