Bitcoin Price Stuck in Tight Band as Analysts Weigh Structural Problem

Bitcoin's price has been stuck in a tight band between $78,000 and $81,000 for several sessions, with some analysts arguing that this is not just a mid-cycle pause but a structural problem. According to BitMEX co-founder Arthur Hayes, Strategy Inc.'s decade-old playbook of selling shares at a premium to net asset value and buying more Bitcoin breaks down when BTC stops accelerating.

Strategy's enterprise mNAV is currently compressed to 1.01x, and diluted mNAV is near 0.74x as of August 27, leaving almost no premium to fund another buying cycle for the largest corporate bitcoin holder on the planet.

As Bitcoin briefly topped $81,000 on August 25 before easing back, traders are debating whether this rally still has legs. Recent technical coverage suggests that a handful of key levels will play out over the next few sessions.
