Bitcoin Price Surge Ignites Hopes for $100K Reclaim
Bitcoin's price surge has captured market attention after reaching $87,000, fueled by strong institutional demand and bullish technicals. The token's recent rally is backed by a rebound in spot ETF demand, with US spot Bitcoin ETFs recording nearly $998.95 million on September 21, the strongest single-day inflow since October 2025.
This surge in institutional buying has been led by BlackRock's IBIT, which attracted about $381.4 million in inflows, while ARKB and Fidelity's FBTC also saw substantial capital inflows. The improving on-chain data is also painting a more constructive picture, with Glassnode's MVRV ratio moving above its 365-day average.
The move towards an improving MVRV structure has been seen as a significant turning point in Bitcoin's recovery phases, similar to those observed in 2019 and 2023. The $BTC price is now testing key resistance levels around $83,500, with a sustained move above this range putting the $100K target back in focus.
