Bitcoin Price Surge Linked to Institutional Support and Spot ETFs
Bitcoin's price has rebounded above $72,000, according to Woofun AI's data. This strong rally is driven by an improved overall market environment and investors' positive response to institutional and regulatory support.
Crypto Patel, based on a historical cycle model, predicts that if the pullback after the 2025 peak falls back to the $40,000, $50,000 range, it could deliver a 1,000% gain. This prediction is based on the fact that after major price pullbacks, the magnitude of subsequent rebounds has been gradually shrinking: the 2017 peak of $19,666 fell by 84%, and the 2021 peak of $69,000 dropped by 77%.
Bitcoin's current price surge can be attributed to spot ETFs, which have enabled traditional investors to participate in a regulated manner without directly holding the asset. Major financial firms are expanding their digital asset businesses, and spot ETFs are rapidly gaining traction, fostering deeper integration between Bitcoin and traditional investment markets.
