Bitcoin Price Surges as FOMO Returns and Corporate Accumulation Continues
Bitcoin's price surge has reached its strongest level since late 2024, according to crypto analytics firm Santiment. The FOMO (fear of missing out) around Bitcoin is at an all-time high, indicating that many investors have been paying close attention to the price increase.
The rising open interest in derivatives has increased by 9.38% within 24 hours to $61.33 billion, suggesting more money is being invested in Bitcoin derivatives. This can help support the Bitcoin price in the event of building leveraged positions with the trend.
Strategy recently acquired 950 BTC worth approximately $75.7 million at an average cost of around $79,670 per Bitcoin, bringing their total number of bitcoins to approximately 846,000 BTC. This purchase stands out due to Strategy emerging as one of the biggest corporate owners of Bitcoin.
