Bitcoin Price Surges on ETF Inflows and Rising Demand
The Bitcoin (BTC) price rose on Tuesday to $63,813 as investors and traders continued to buy spot Bitcoin ETFs. According to recent data, these funds added over $170 million on Monday after suffering a $265 million loss a day before.
BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) added $111 million in assets, while Fidelity's Fidelity Bitcoin Exchange-Traded Fund (FBTC) and Franklin's Franklin Liberty Gold Shares ETF (EZBC) each contributed $9.23 million and $6.6 million, respectively.
The rising demand for spot Bitcoin ETFs is a bullish signal for the cryptocurrency market. The BTC/USD pair has been moving upwards since last week's low of $62,200 and is now above its 50-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA).
However, some technical analysts are warning that Bitcoin may be forming a head-and-shoulders pattern, which could indicate a potential reversal in the near term.
