Bitcoin's recent price action has been marked by volatility, with the cryptocurrency testing its $84K support after being rejected at $87K for the second time in a week.

The price of BTC has dropped to around $84,426 as of September 24, 2026, down -2.7% on the day, but this masks a more significant move over the past 48 hours.

Onchain data shows negative spot demand at the highs, and CoinGlass tallied roughly $280M in liquidations over a four-hour window.

Trader Rekt Capital has flagged $82,000 as the line that bulls need to defend, warning that a failure there could lead to a price drop back into its old range of $60,000-$80,000.
