Bitcoin Price Volatility: Can BTC Rebound to $87,000 Amid Geopolitical Uncertainty?
Bitcoin's price has taken a dip following geopolitical tensions between Iran and the US, but it remains to be seen if institutional buyers will absorb the losses. At $83,000, Bitcoin is still up 10% this month from its mid-September low of $75,590. However, its recent decline of -1.8% has left many wondering if it can reclaim its high of $87,000.
According to data, support for Bitcoin sits near $83,800-$84,000, with a deeper technical floor around $83,787. Meanwhile, resistance clusters at $85,000-$86,000, which would need to be cleared with volume to reopen the path toward last week's high of $87,000.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of $998.95M on September 21, suggesting that institutional demand hasn't disappeared. Despite this, roughly $187M in liquidations hit the broader crypto market over 24 hours, yet BTC held its structure.
