Bitcoin Pulls Back Towards $74K Amid $7.4B Liquidation Zone
Bitcoin's recent surge to multi-month highs has left many wondering if it can hold its ground. After reaching levels not seen since January, the cryptocurrency is now facing a potential pullback towards $74,000.
According to on-chain data from Coinglass, there is a massive $7.43 billion liquidation level that could fuel another downside sweep before Bitcoin attempts a rebound.
The current liquidity gap between $84,500-$85,200 and the lower levels near $74,000 makes it vulnerable to liquidation pressure. If leveraged positions begin getting flushed and downside momentum accelerates, Bitcoin's price could drop towards the $74,000 area.
Bitcoin has tested an immediate demand floor between $82,500 and $83,000, which buyers aggressively defended during its initial test. However, if it falls below this support, it would suggest that buyers are losing control of immediate price direction.
