Bitcoin Rallies 20% as Futures Demand Returns to Markets
BTC has experienced a significant surge in price over the past three days, rallying more than 20% as demand returned to both spot and futures markets.
The open interest for BTC increased by $2.5 billion, with $1.5 billion of that coming from Binance, which now accounts for 37% of total market open interest.
Binance also saw a notable rise in futures activity, with its seven-hour moving average of net taker volume reaching its highest level since 2024.
Following Bitcoin breaking above $65,000, more than $246 million in net buying pressure entered Binance within hours, marking the strongest surge in futures buying pressure on the platform in two years.
