Dogecoin Rallies 10% as Crypto Market Sees Broad Rebound
Dogecoin has seen a 10% surge in value as part of a broader crypto rebound, with co-founder Billy Markus taking to social media to share his observations.
The price of Dogecoin rose from $0.069 on August 19 to reach an intraday high of $0.078 before retracing some gains, and is now trading around $0.081.
This rebound comes as Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies have also moved higher, with Markus sharing a screen showing the gains in various assets, including Dogecoin, Ethereum, Solana, and the S&P 500 index.
The crypto market has faced prolonged selling pressure since a major flash crash last October, with liquidations totaling $19 billion. This recent rebound is seen as a test of whether the market can exit its downtrend.
