Bitcoin Rallies Above 50-Week Average Despite Geopolitical Tensions
The price of Bitcoin (BTC) has rallied to its highest level in four months, reclaiming its 50-week moving average for the first time since November 2025.
This bullish development comes despite rising geopolitical tensions, including conflicts involving Russia-Ukraine, Yemen, and Iran.
According to Galaxy Research, this is a potentially important confirmation that the bear phase has run its course, as 11 out of 13 instances where BTC closed above its 50-week average saw major rallies in the past.
The current ascending triangle formation suggests that $BTC could break above $82,087 and extend towards $84,000 if it clears the strong high zone. However, a loss of support near $80,837 risks a slide towards the Parabolic SAR at $75,559.
