Bitcoin Rallies on Regulatory Optimism, Targets Record High
Bitcoin has made a remarkable recovery from its July 2026 low of around $57,800, surging by 38% to date.
This impressive rally is largely attributed to the US Treasury's debt buyback plan and the White House crypto summit hosted by President Donald Trump, which added fresh optimism about a more supportive regulatory environment in America.
Experts believe that this momentum will continue, with Bitcoin attempting to test its record high levels by the end of 2026. The recent surge has also been driven by the US Securities and Exchange Commission's proposed 'Regulation Crypto Assets' framework, which aims to regulate crypto assets and facilitate adoption.
Rajagopal Menon, vice president at WazirX, emphasized that improved regulation, liquidity, and short covering have all contributed to Bitcoin's recent price action. He noted that institutional participation has strengthened the market structure, but warned of potential macroeconomic shocks and sharp corrections.
