Bitcoin Rallies Past $80,000 as ETF Inflows and Risk Appetite Fuel Surge
Bitcoin continued its upward momentum on Tuesday, reaching new heights as it closed in on the $80,000 mark. The surge comes after a sharp rally last week that saw bitcoin jump more than 20% in just three days.
The cryptocurrency's recent gains can be attributed to renewed inflows into spot Bitcoin ETFs and improving risk appetite among investors. This has led to a significant increase in demand for bitcoin, pushing its price higher.
However, the rally was not without some volatility, with bitcoin briefly surpassing $81,000 before paring its gains. As of now, it's trading at $79,358.16, up 0.7% from earlier in the day.
