Bitcoin Reaches 1.7% of Global Money Basket, According to River

River's analysis of Bitcoin's market capitalization has revealed that it now represents approximately 1.7% of the global money basket, which totals around $138 trillion.

This 'money basket' is composed of two main components: the total global fiat M2 money supply at $112.9 trillion and gold's market capitalization at $25.1 trillion.

At its peak, Bitcoin's market cap reached about $2.4 trillion, allowing it to claim around 1.7% of the 'money basket'. However, price fluctuations brought this figure down slightly to approximately 1.66% at the time of River's reporting.
