Bitcoin Readies for Breakout to $90K as Resistance Zone Looms
Bitcoin is approaching a key resistance zone that could trigger a breakout to $90,000. The cryptocurrency has been steadily climbing back towards $86,000 after reaching an intraday high of $86,794 on Friday.
The immediate test for Bitcoin sits around $87,000 to $88,000, with Nansen senior research analyst Nicolai Sondergaard identifying this range as a key level after reclaiming $85,000. Bitfinex's framework is more specific, with its analysts pinpointing Bitcoin's $87,722 yearly open as the major upside test.
A sustained break above that level could force traders to chase the move, adding fuel to the rally as resistance thins. However, positioning remains cautious enough that a clean breakout could still lead to a quick reversal if spot ETF inflows fade again.
