Bitcoin's price has been on a wild ride in recent days, plummeting to $76,200 at one point before rebounding to around $78,000. The drop was attributed to the escalation of the Middle East war, which had sent shockwaves through global markets. However, BTC managed to recover some ground during the weekend and touched $79,000 on Sunday.

The cryptocurrency's market capitalization is now up to $1.560 trillion, with its dominance over other altcoins remaining steady at 59.6%. The total crypto market cap has also surged by $20 billion to $2.620 trillion.

Meanwhile, Arbitrum's native token, ARB, has been the top performer, surging by 18.5% and trading close to $0.14. Other notable gainers include NIGHT (11.5%), CAKE (9%), APT (9%), LIT (8%), and PYTH (6.5%).
