Bitcoin Reclaims $65,000 Threshold Amid Improved Macro Signals
Bitcoin has reclaimed the $65,000 mark after months of struggling to break above this threshold. The move came as part of a broader rebound in risk assets and followed several days of tight trading between $62,000 and $65,000.
The prolonged slump that pushed retail traders out of the market and drained billions from crypto investment funds has been a significant challenge for Bitcoin. However, the return of 'whale' buying, large-scale purchases by deep-pocketed participants, is being seen as a positive sign.
A weaker dollar, reduced expectations for an aggressive Federal Reserve rate hike, and easing geopolitical concerns have also contributed to the rebound. U.S. equities showed signs of recovery from recent lows at the same time, providing additional tailwinds for Bitcoin.
