Bitcoin Reclaims $77K as Zcash Surges Past $900
Bitcoin (BTC) has reclaimed $77K after a brief dip to $75,500 on Sunday. The cryptocurrency had been stuck in a stagnant period for weeks before finally breaking above the $65,000 threshold last Wednesday.
The bulls took control and pushed BTC's price up to almost $80,000 by Friday morning. However, a correction was inevitable, and the asset did dip to its lowest point of the week on Sunday. Nevertheless, it has since recovered some ground, trading above $77,500 as of press time.
Zcash (ZEC) has seen significant gains, reaching nearly $900 for the first time in nearly a decade. The mid-cap altcoins have also performed well, with several assets experiencing double-digit growth. Ethereum (ETH), on the other hand, has only increased by 2% in the past 24 hours.
