Bitcoin Reclaims $85K as PUMP Soars 16% in 24 Hours
Bitcoin's price has continued its upward momentum, reaching over $85,000 on Sunday morning after a volatile week. The cryptocurrency's market capitalization has jumped to $1.710 trillion, with its dominance over larger-cap altcoins remaining flat at 59%.
The weekend has brought some calm to the market, with most larger-cap altcoins experiencing minor gains. Ethereum, for example, has returned to $2,700 after a minor increase from yesterday, while XRP has reached $1.50 following a 1.1% jump.
However, the standout performer of the weekend has been PUMP, which has surged 16% in 24 hours to $0.0063. Other notable gainers include ZRO and AERO, which have also experienced significant daily increases.
The US jobs report, released on Friday, had a mixed impact on the market. While the initial reaction was bullish, with Bitcoin jumping past $87,000 for the first time in ten days, it quickly crashed and fell to under $84,000. The bulls intervened at this point, helping Bitcoin recover to $84,000 on Saturday and beyond.
