Bitcoin Reclaims $87,000 Amid Tech Stocks Rally and Easing Iran Tensions
Bitcoin's price regained the $87,000 mark on September 23, driven by gains in US technology stocks and hopes for easing tensions between the US and Iran.
The rebound was supported by overnight strength in US tech shares, with Micron rising 5.0% and Nvidia adding 0.66%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index also rose 2.06%, contributing to the improved sentiment across risk assets.
Prospects for easing tensions between the US and Iran helped reduce uncertainty, leading to a fall in oil prices. Brent crude for November delivery fell 1.1% and West Texas Intermediate for October delivery dropped 1.2%, both below $100 a barrel.
