Bitcoin Reclaims $87K as Bull Market Momentum Builds
Bitcoin's price surged to $87,251 on September 22 before pulling back to around $86,400. This marks the second time in 48 hours that Bitcoin has reclaimed the $87,000 level.
According to Coinglass data, short liquidations fell to $48 million while long losses rose to nearly $14 million, a sign of the asset's sustained resilience.
The Crypto Fear and Greed Index has held mostly above 60 since mid-August, indicating growing confidence in digital assets. This sentiment is reinforced by the surge in fear of missing out (FOMO) to levels last seen in December 2024.
Tony Dicarlo, director of institutional propositions at Rootstock Labs, highlighted the legislative and macro developments that have contributed to Bitcoin's uptrend. He notes that technical indicators signal a strong year-end outlook for the asset.
