Bitcoin Recovers 50-Week Moving Average After 45-Week Drought
Bitcoin has reclaimed its 50-week moving average after a 45-week gap, a historic technical signal that suggests the bear market bottom may have formed.
According to trading data, Bitcoin settled Sunday's weekly close at $81,159 (approximately ¥12.2 million), about 3% above the 50-week moving average of $78,786 (approximately ¥11.8 million).
Historically, when Bitcoin recovers this level on a weekly basis, it has never fallen below its prior low. Analyst Alex Thorn notes that in four out of five bear markets, Bitcoin's price action followed this pattern.
Meanwhile, the 200-week moving average has also risen to $65,487 (approximately ¥9.8 million), with Bitcoin now trading roughly 24% above that level.
