Bitcoin Red Team Finds Hundreds of Critical Flaws in Open-Source Software
The Bitcoin Red Team has been working tirelessly to identify and fix critical flaws in open-source software after a recent vulnerability exploited by hackers led to over $100 million in losses.
Led by Calle, a software engineer, and Rob Hamilton, the CEO of Anchorwatch, the team used AI tokens worth over $40,000 to audit 390 Open Source repositories across Bitcoin.
The Red Team reported finding 85 critical flaws and 635 high-severity issues in just 27.5 hours, with a rate of 2.31 findings per person per hour.
