Bitcoin Reloads: $82,000 Becomes Make-or-Break Threshold
The Bitcoin price has been stuck in a range, but analysts believe it's not stalling - it's reloading for another attempt at $82,000. This level is now the defining threshold for the bullish case: until it's broken, Bitcoin remains within its broader structure that has contained it since the summer; above it, the market begins to tell a very different story.
Currently, Bitcoin is encountering natural supply from those who bought around the May highs and have spent the intervening months waiting for an opportunity to escape roughly at breakeven. This overhang needs to be absorbed before the path towards $82,000 becomes clearer.
The bulls have several arguments in their favor: the strong August rally remains behind the market, and the failed procedural vote on the CLARITY Act prompted selling but didn't produce a structural breakdown. Even the Federal Reserve's first rate increase in three years was insufficient to push Bitcoin into a sustained decline.
