Bitcoin Reserve Grows as American Bitcoin Misses Revenue Forecasts
American Bitcoin expanded its BTC holdings and mining output in Q2, despite missing revenue forecasts.
The company added 981 BTC to its reserve, increasing it by 14% from approximately 7,021 BTC on March 31 to 8,002 BTC on June 30.
This growth in the reserve led to an increase in Bitcoin backing per share from 9,943 satoshis to 10,989 satoshis.
American Bitcoin's mining output reached a quarterly record of 932 BTC, with revenue rising 8% to $67 million. However, revenue per Bitcoin mined fell 5% to $71,900 due to the decline in Bitcoin's price.
The company maintained a gross margin near 50%, and its stock continued to fall, losing over 80% of its value since its NASDAQ debut in September 2025.
