Bitcoin Roars Back as Bulls Refuse to Drown in Rate Hike
Bitcoin rebounded significantly after falling to a local low of $74,967 on September 15th. The price has since increased by 9.21% in under a week.
Jurrien Timmer, Fidelity's Head of Global Macro, believes that inflation could be triggering the rise of scarce assets like Bitcoin.
Historically, when the price closes above its 52-week moving average, it has often signaled the start of a new bull run. This occurred for the first time since November 2025 this week, with the previous instance happening in March 2023.
The current cycle's bottom may test the 2021 highs instead of the 2017-18 lows, as seen in the 2023 cycle.
