Bitcoin Sees Cycle Bottom, Grayscale Gives Green Light Amid Zcash Surge
Grayscale's head of research, Zach Pandl, believes that Bitcoin (BTC) has reached its cycle bottom after falling to $58,000 in June. He stated that investors can now consider allocating fresh capital to the asset.
In a recent interview with The Block, Pandl mentioned three factors Grayscale considered before advising clients to invest in Bitcoin: the long-term structural trend, the stage of the market cycle, and prevailing macroeconomic conditions. According to Pandl, all these conditions are now in place.
Bitcoin's price has been building towards a stronger breakout, with FinanceFeeds' analysis showing a bullish setup on the daily timeframe. The Volume-Weighted and Accumulation/Distribution indicators support this setup, with the A/D indicator reaching 12.74 million as accumulation builds within the pattern.
Zcash (ZEC) has also gained attention from Grayscale's research head, who sees its privacy features as a potential complement to Bitcoin. Pandl noted that Zcash could become increasingly relevant in the market due to growing concerns about artificial intelligence-driven surveillance.
Grayscale has given the 'green light' to clients to allocate capital to Bitcoin, while also highlighting Zcash's potential for growth. The price of ZEC has surged 177% in the past 30 days, with technical indicators pointing to continued upside potential.
