Bitcoin Sees First Golden Cross in Six Months as Institutional Inflows Reach $3.8 Billion
The Bitcoin price has reached $81,265 and recorded its first 'Golden Cross' in over six months. This technical indicator is formed when the short-term moving average crosses above the long-term moving average.
This is the first Golden Cross since November 2025. It occurred as Bitcoin hovered around the $78,000 to $80,000 range after rising by about 25% since mid-August.
The institutionally-backed inflows into US spot Bitcoin ETFs are also significant, totaling $3.8 billion over the past three weeks. This marks the strongest institutional buy activity in the market since 2026.
