Bitcoin Set to Become Wall Street Staple Investment: Pompliano
Prominent analyst Anthony Pompliano believes Bitcoin will become a 'consensus investment' on Wall Street within the next 1.5 years, as opposed to its current status as a contrarian investment.
This prediction comes after leading hedge fund manager Paul Tudor Jones endorsed Bitcoin as a hedge against inflation, likening it to gold in the 1970s.
Pompliano points out that despite the volatility and liquidity problems associated with Bitcoin, crypto infrastructure has improved significantly over the years, making it easier for institutional investors to participate.
Recent data from Grayscale Investments shows a record $503.7 million invested in its crypto fund in the first quarter of 2020, with 88% coming from institutional investors.
